The history of F.P. Journe watches
Founded in 1999 and named after the founder, François-Paul Journe, with the focus on chronometers. There are approximately 800 watches produced annually. F.P. Journe owns its case maker, Les Boîtiers de Genève, as well as its dealmaker, Les Cadraniers de Genève and is the only watchmaker to remain in Geneva.
François-Paul Journe graduated from the Paris watchmaking School in 1976 and went on to design and produce completely original watches including the resonance chronometer. The main collections are Sovereign, Octa, Linesport, Elegant and Jewellery.
