The history of Tiffany & Co watches
Tiffany & Co began in 1837, and the first store opens in New York City. The total sales on its first day were $4.98. In 1845 Tiffany released his first direct mail catalogue in the US and he introduces it to the Americans to luxury goods. Tiffany announces the Tiffany Timer in 1866, which was America's first stopwatch which was made from silver steel. Two years later, the company starts to produce gold jewellery designs and making more luxury items for the Americans.
By 1940 on the corner of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue, the new store called the Tiffany new category of eyewear while in partnership with Luxottica and 2014 the company the Flagship opens. This established the area as the premier shopping for New York. By the 2000s the company Tiffany and Co are established.
